Cheering Goodbye to the Challenging Year 2020

Wrapping up this unexpected and challenging year, we would like to say our farewells to 2020 in a note of empowerment, positivity, and excitement for all the amazing experiences the future holds. Mitheo Events, celebrates the new beginnings that New Year’s Day signifies, reflecting on all that we have learned during this year, going back to our most memorable 2020 moments as luxury wedding planners and producers, in preparation for a full and productive year of 2021, filled with creativity and new goals!

In retrospect, what 2020 has taught myself as an entrepreneur and my wonderful team of planners and designers, is to rise above the circumstances, always stay active in business, be resilient and adapt to the needs of the time to best serve our lovely couples and amazing clients, stay creative, with high spirits and a kind and joyful attitude. During a time when we embrace and appreciate more than ever what truly counts, the most important values of our work, such as gracious customer service, professionalism, high level of craftsmanship and a devotion to first class service, we continue to be committed on delivering flawless events and meaningful celebrations, thoughtfully designed and seamlessly executed.

In anticipation of our new destination weddings and private events already booked for 2021 and 2022, in Greece and Italy, and all our new clients that we will be welcoming, we would like to thank all of our discerning clientele and creative partners, who were our driving force that propelled our company to progress and grow despite the challenging times.

As New Year’s Eve is coming closer, lets reflect some of our best moments from 2020 and the importance they hold for Mitheo Events, in anticipation to the many more to come in 2021:

• Our early 2020 destination private party event at Villa Cora in Florence, Italy for our gorgeous Russian couple was a magical celebration and prime example of teamwork and seamless collaboration. This set of multi day luxury events, we planned and managed, was realized with the collective effort of a team of renowned professionals, all working in harmony from the fine gastronomy chefs to the concierge executives with a shared value of providing first class services.

• During the outbreak of the Covid pandemic, Mitheo Events team supported and assisted many of our couples as they had to postpone the date of their wedding due to a later date. We made sure that any changes in the contracts and agreements with the venues and professionals were accomplished smoothly for both parties while we remained by the side of our couples and their families to support them, listen carefully their concerns and provide them with alternatives. The appreciation of our amazing clients was our ultimate reward.

• My business-to-business interview shared a full insight on what is like to run a wedding and events planning company amongst a pandemic, in Greece and Italy, how we were affected and the steps I took as an entrepreneur so Mitheo Events could come out stronger as a business, more innovative and prepared for the new era in destination weddings and celebrations, as we continued to provide our clients with first class service.

• Our dreamy wedding editorial projects in Kefalonia, were produced in June 2020, while wedding celebrations, businesses and traveling were restricted in Greece. Our purpose was to motivate our collaborating partners and produce fresh creative content for our community, an example of how we can be active, set new trends and flourish even under unfavorable circumstances. Most importantly, we were deeply touched and appreciated, that through restrictions and with health measures in place, our creative partners and event professionals were so responsive and eager to work with us on those creative projects and deliver exceptional results.

• Our eco-friendly luxury micro-wedding celebration at Four Seasons, Athens Greece, live-streamed for our lovely couple’s family and friends who couldn’t attend due to travel and events restrictions, was planned and executed flawlessly by my wonderful Mitheo Events team, in less than 5 days upon request of our private clients. We felt so honored by the gratitude of our amazing couple, which is our ultimate reward, as we assist and take care of our clients during these challenging times.

• Our upgraded website is now up and running, featuring swoon worthy luxury wedding inspiration from our destination wedding events and exclusive parties in Greece and Italy. We are very proud to have achieved our goal of collecting and editing such a large volume of photos from our beautiful destination weddings and events, shot by the world’s top photographers, producing new videos. We also ready to provide you with more inspiration and fashion forward insights through our enriched blog with the 2021 wedding trends, most stylish wedding gown designs, top venues for a Greek island destination wedding or party, luxury Lake Como venues for your dream destination wedding in Italy and many more!

We are so grateful and excited, to come out stronger and more motivated than ever out of this year’s challenges and we cannot wait for our upcoming gorgeous destination weddings, private events and meaningful celebrations in Greece and Italy for 2021 and 2022.
