Chinese Inspired Elegance In Santorini

For New York based couple, who fell in love with the breathtaking Santorini sunsets, getting married in this beautiful island of the Aegean was a dream come true! Honoring our bride's Chinese heritage as well as our groom's Greek roots, Mitheo Events masterfully combined elements from both cultures into a harmonious blend creating a captivating setting at the five-star Rocabella Hotel venue. For the romantic ceremony overlooking the infinite blue we set up an elegant kiosk with flowing fabrics and beautiful handmade porcelain vases in chinoiserie motifs filled with opulent blossoms in red and pink hues.

The bride was a vision in her hand-beaded ivory mermaid gown, a masterpiece by Galia Lahav. Chinese umbrellas kept the guests cool under the Santorinian sun while the bridal party was fully in tune with the color palette in a variety of gorgeous powder blue gowns. After the exchange of vows the couple was sent off by friends and family showered in love and delicate rose petals.
